In a previous post, I had talked about how one of the trends for Spring 2014 was to have glowing skin.
We’re putting aside our matte coverage foundations for a more natural glowing finish. Since that post I’ve been trying to achieve this look. I’m one of those girls who loves the matte finish, covering everything and anything!
But I’ve embraced a new product, one that I’m suggesting my clients use. M.A.C.’s Prep & Prime BB Compact, is a light to medium coverage that is prefect for Spring/Summer.
It comes in a few different shades;
Light, Light Plus, Medium, Medium Plus, Medium Dark, Dark, Dark Plus and Deep Dark.
I use Light Plus (my tan has faded) and stipple on my face with the Sigma F80 Kabuki Brush. I then use concealer to hide anything that the BB cream has missed. I use Bare Minerals Stroke of Light concealer. I set the under eye area with M.A.C.’s prep and prime translucent powder and then set the rest of my face with M.A.C.’s mineral powder in Medium.
It’s a light coverage that lasts all day, yes I might have to touch up any shiny areas in the afternoon but that’s to be expected.
If you’re looking to try something new this spring, I’d suggest trying this product. You won’t be disappointed!
